New Estate agency opens in Stamford
The UK’s leading rural property services provider Smiths Gore has opened a residential agency office in Stamford. The office is headed by Ed Russell who joins from Knight Frank where he was responsible for Country House sales in the Midlands area. Joining Ed is Annabel Morbey, formerly of local agents King West, Stamford and Lane Fox in London. Edward de Lisle will also be joining the team, working from both the Stamford office and the firm’s Lichfield office linking agency services across the wider region.
All three are qualified chartered surveyors with a wealth of property and agency experience selling a spectrum of property from cottages to country estates.
Ed Russell comments: “I am delighted with the opportunity to build and develop our estate agency practice in the Stamford area. Stamford is the ideal location to establish a dedicated residential sales office, where we already have an existing high profile management presence in and around the town.
“We are committed to providing a first class service to vendors and buyers alike, with the very best advice to our clients backed by our strength and expertise as the UK’s leading rural property services provider.
“The country and town markets are still resilient in spite of the economy. With current low stock levels and interest rate rises on the horizon, properties that are realistically priced are well placed to sell.
“With a national applicant database, we are pleased that so many active buyers are eagerly registering their requirements with us and have serious intentions to buy in the area this spring.”
The office, which is based opposite The George Hotel at 9 High Street, St Martins in Stamford, officially opened its doors for business in the first week of March.
