Local children smile on the worst day of the year!
Regional law firm QualitySolicitors Wilson Browne ran its Black Monday event on 16 January for a third consecutive year, once again linking it to the Leicester Hospitals Charity for the benefit of the children’s ward.
Guests from across the local business community were invited to celebrate in style at The Terrace bar - Albion Street with special guest, the Lord Mayor of Leicester, Councillor Robert Wann.
The event not only brought smiles to those attending but will ensure there are more smiles on the children’s ward in the months to come.
On the night, QualitySolicitors Wilson Browne also made a donation to the Lord Mayor’s Charity, The Royal Anglian Regiment Benevolent Charity Fund.
Talented magician John Constantine was also present to entertain the guests.
“We are absolutely delighted with the turnout for this event” confirmed Family Law Partner Danka Neuborn, who is based at the firm’s Leicester office. “We received such a high level of positive feedback last year so decided to make this an annual event for the Leicester team. Due to last year’s success, we thought that we must tie it into the Leicester Hospitals Children’s Charity once again.”
Timothy Diggle, Head of fundraising for the charity added “We were thrilled to be a part of this event and to be given the opportunity to receive such generosity from the local people and businesses.”
