Derbyshire farmers receive support from NFU panel of experts
farmers in Derbyshire have welcomed the creation of a panel of agricultural experts which has been recently formed by the National farmers’ union (Nfu). The newly created Rural surveyor panel is designed to offer guidance and support to farmers on a range of issues, including rent reviews, tenancy succession and advice on lettings.
To be eligible for support from the Nfu initiative, recipients must farm in the east midlands region, which covers Leicestershire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.
Chartered surveyors Andrew Granger & Co, who have agricultural clients across the east midlands and branches in Loughborough, Leicester and market Harborough, is one of only ten companies appointed by the Nfu for the east midlands after a rigorous selection procedure.
successful applicants were required to demonstrate a high level of expertise and experience to support the needs of farming members. To secure a place on the panel, Andrew Granger & Co had to provide evidence of their agricultural specialism and quality of advice to meet the strict criteria.
