Rose Named in honour of Stephen Fry

Stephen’s Rose, introduced by Norfolk rose grower Bill LeGrice, has a mass of distinctive, wavy edged, single flowers in a splendid mix of yellow and creamy red. It’s a strong growing, strongly scented, floribunda bush rose.

On seeing his new rose for the first time, Stephen Fry said -

“I think it’s fair to say that there is nothing that makes an English cheek glow and an English heart flutter so much as that of having a rose named in their honour. And what a rose is this. A shape so bold yet fragile, so confident yet shy ... and the colours! I am swooning and drooling with pleasure. You may touch me, smell me, grow me and pick me but please always respect and thank those who bred me.”

Stephen’s Rose is available from www.rosebuddies.com at £10.95
