Villa Kiaralou Saint Barth

Nestled in the foliage of the Grand Fond Valley, Villa The villa is built in a contemporary colonial style, white walls Kiaralou is a stunning refuge of comfortable isolation.

It is a haven of tropical serenity, but, at the same time, a place where you can immediately feel at home. It reflects the art de vivre of Saint Barth, an exclusive gem in the Caribbean Sea, tailored to the needs of the most demanding clientele.

The house is charming without being ostentatious, Saint Barth at its best, a touch of France in the tropics. Its lush, landscaped gardens offer a clear view of unspoilt nature. Looking out from the terrace, one can admire the ocean and the mountain peaks that grace the island. Yet, Villa Kiaralou is barely 5-10 minutes away from the grocery stores, cafés and restaurants of bustling Saint-Jean, and of course, nearly the two dozen white sand beaches dotting 32 kilometers of pristine coastline.

accented with blue details, and is encircled by a wooden deck which wraps around a large swimming pool. It’s designed to provide privacy, while at the same time presenting a postcard- like panorama, verdant hills reaching out to the sea below, a view that can also be admired from the large bay window in the dining room.

The main floor is an open space encompassing the dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen and the living room, all under the canopy of a cathedral ceiling. The dominant exterior colors are repeated in the walls and comfortable furnishings, whose center piece is a white grand piano. The ensemble radiates both elegance and a purity of form.

The same color themes appear in the two bedrooms and their ensuite bathrooms. These rooms open onto a terrace, a magnificent view of the Caribbean to wake up to. A secluded cottage, perched in the foliage above the pool and surrounded by palm trees, can serve as a third bedroom.

Villa Kiaralou is also designed for outdoor living tuned to the congenial climate. Its large tiered deck is equipped with an eating area, a barbecue pit, and plenty of lounge chairs. At night, the whole house is illuminated by lamps that outline the stairs and by a multicolored cascade of lights from the swimming pool. It’s simply magic, the perfect ambiance, day or night, to enjoy life à la française.
