Antiques for Everyone brings downton Abbey style to the NEC

Antiques for Everyone will bring a touch of Downton Abbey style to the NEC this spring as the UK’s largest quality antiques fair returns from 12th to 15th April 2012.

The central area of the exhibition will be a special Downton Abbey inspired feature which will include a dramatic period home and room set showcasing furniture and art from the early 1900s.  Halls 17-19 will be packed with more than 100,000 items of furniture, jewellery, fine art, pottery, porcelain silver, and much more from over 300 specialist dealers from all over the country.

Alongside the hundreds of art and antiques dealers at the fair Judith Miller and Mark Hill from BBC Antiques Roadshow will be holding intimate talks every day highlighting their favourite pieces from the fair, sharing expert advice and answering questions.

Tiffany Pritchard, show director at Antiques for Everyone said: “This is our 27th year and we are proud to bring together some of the country’s finest art and antiques dealers under one roof.  Along with the Downton Abbey inspired feature, Judith Miller and Mark Hill the spring Antiques for Everyone fair is one not to be missed.”

Judith Miller from BBC Antiques Roadshow said: “It’s always so inspiring to meet collectors, hear their stories and share some of our experience with them.”
