Rainbows has a £3,000 prize up for grabs
Rainbows has launched its annual Super Draw raffle and the £3,000 top prize could be yours. For a £1 ticket, the lucky winner could take a family holiday, redecorate the house or put it in the bank. Whatever you would do with £3,000, the money raised by this year’s Rainbows Super Draw will help support the children, young people and their families that use the hospice.
The Rainbows Super Draw 2012 – now in its sixth year – plays a crucial part in raising the necessary funds needed to keep Rainbows running each year, and this year the prize fund is a total of £4,000. Each year this simple raffle helps the hospice raise over £20,000 and helps pay for nurses and other care team workers.
The big draw will take place on August 3rd, and tickets can be bought until July 30th for just £1 each. The lucky winners will receive a cheque after the draw, which could be for £50, £250, £500 or the grand prize of £3,000.
Mr Huckerby of Leire, a long-term Rainbows supporter, won the top prize of £3,000 last year. Jas Dosanjh, Lottery & Cultural Fundraiser at Rainbows, said: “The Super Draw gives supporters a great chance of winning cash prizes whilst contributing to the funds we need to help Rainbows support those families whose children do not live long enough.
“Whether you buy one ticket for £1 or a book of 15, you’ll be making a difference to lives of over 230 children from across the East Midlands.”
