Spiffing good fun with The 39 Steps

Currently celebrating its sixth year on London’s West End, the Olivier award-winning comedy, The 39 Steps, will stop off at Coventry’s Belgrade Theatre from 22 to 27 April as part of a national tour.

This inventive version of Alfred Hitchcock’s comedy spy thriller features four fearless actors, playing 139 roles in 100 minutes of fast-paced fun and thrilling action.

Harking back to a spiffing time when men wore moustaches and women swooned, The 39 Steps follows the incredible adventures of handsome hero Richard Hannay. Complete with stiff-upper-lip, British gung-ho and pencil moustache, he encounters dastardly murders, double-crossing secret agents, and, of course, devastatingly beautiful women.
