It was said that the cinema killed the theatre and that television would kill the cinema. In the “old” days, when television was still in its infancy and only came as ‘black-and-white’ and was a large box which occupied a corner of a living room, Saturday evening was sacred – to the cinema.
In June 2016 the UK leg of Maserati’s International Polo Tour saw a thrilling match at the Gloucestershire-based Beaufort Polo Club. Playing in the UK match at the iconic ground was a very special guest; HRH The Duke of Cambridge who played on the Maserati team.
